This year’s Skip Warren Community
Service Award honors Joe Lima, President of PFLAG Cape Cod. Joe’s involvement with PFLAG began when he sought support & advice from other parents and members, which led to his deep commitment to the organization’s mission of providing a welcoming & safe environment for those struggling with issues of sexuality & gender identity. President since November 2019 & a residential designer by profession, Joe & his husband John have been together since 1991, married since 2011 & live in Osterville.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to PFLAG Cape Cod, an organization of LGBTQ+ people, parents, families, & allies working together to create an equitable and inclusive world. Founded in 1973, PFLAG works every day to ensure LGBTQ+ people everywhere are safe, celebrated, empowered, & loved.
