Join us for “Peace in Our Hearts”, a Day of Mindfulness to be held on June 6 at the Orleans Council on Aging, 150 Rock Harbor Road, Orleans, MA 02653
Two wonderful dharma teachers – Peggy Rowe Ward and Diane Little Eagle – will lead meditation, teachings, music, gentle movements, mindful walking, eating, and relaxing. Gopal D. Patel is a globally recognized faith-based environmental activist, keynote speaker and United Nations consultant who works on the International Treaty of the High Seas. As Co-Founder and President of FutureFaith, his environmental advocacy spans several critical areas: ocean conservation, land and ecosystem restoration, and promoting nature and biodiversity protection through faith-based partnerships.

Immigrant workers play a vital role in sustaining these industries.

- Perhaps you have the gifts of time and compassion for those who are journeying to the end of life.
- Perhaps you would be willing to share a couple of hours a week to provide companionship for someone under the care of Broad Reach Hospice.
- Perhaps you have a passion for music, art, or other creative skills that might enhance the quality of life of someone with Alzheimer’s.
