Holiday Memories: Should Only The “Good” Ones Be Shared?

Thanksgiving is a time for family, friends, and food – and for sharing memories.  Most often, the memories are good ones; of the first Thanksgiving after the birth of a baby or in a new home, of times when the entire family, no matter how far they had to come, were together.  If they are remembered at all, the memories of Thanksgiving dinners which, for one reason or another, didn’t work out so well, usually remain in our subconscious. Join Worship Associates Lindsey Straus and Candace Hammond as they explore the selectiveness of memory and whether being able to view holidays past through rose-colored glasses is a sign of spiritual growth or just keeps us stuck in a spiritual rut.
