Today is International Women’s Day. What if we could flip the whole historical paradigm of men’s dominance? How would the world be different if women were in charge? Would women and men be both strong and gentle, as Judy Chicago asks? Would we have the Goddess? Would there be peace? What would be the critical factors in decision-making? What would be important in raising our children? Would the earth be protected? Might it be different if the guidance for how we live and what matters most came from women? As we celebrate women, their strength and persistence, let’s explore these questions together. Is it even possible to see the historical paradigm through a feminist lens?
