In traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi describes an appreciation for finding beauty within imperfection, impermanence, and incompleteness. Applied to our faith lives, Rev. Janet wonders whether honoring the imperfections that result from an active spiritual life, with gratitude for its occasionally painful lessons, might be the…perfect…way forward.
