Unitarian Universalism has lifted up the historical Jesus for centuries, not the Christ Jesus that dominates the hearts and minds of so many. Our vision and understanding of Jesus often clashes with prevailing declarations of  “Jesus Loves Me” or “Jesus Saves.”   The Jesus I know, the radical, Jewish agitator, isn’t really a fun-loving guy.   If he were to come back today, I have a feeling he’d push us to reclaim our heritage and step into the fray, emboldened with a message of radical inclusion and a love that knows no bounds.
