Ongoing Community Support Activities
Faith Family Kitchen
Volunteers package and distribute meals to people in need monthly between 4:30—7:00
on fourth Fridays at the Faith Assembly of God Church in Hyannis.
St. Joseph’s Shelter Meal
Volunteers drop dinner items (meatloaves, green beans, baked potatoes, dessert) off at
the First Parish kitchen on the third Saturday of every month to be delivered to the St.
Joseph’s Shelter in Hyannis for dinner that evening for people in need.
Unitarian Universalist Service Committee Fair Trade Project
Volunteers sell Equal Exchange products (olive oil, coffee, nuts, chocolate chips,
chocolate bars, and tea) on Sunday mornings to benefit the Unitarian Universalist
Service Committee. The mission is to build long-term trade partnerships that are
economically just and environmentally sound. We remain in the top 5% of sales by
participating organizations!
UU Connections Committee
Volunteers network with regional, national, and international entities on behalf of our
faith community including the Unitarian Universalist Association, Nauset Interfaith
Association, Cape Cod Council of Churches, and the UU Service Committee.
