Article II Study Commission How to Participate in the Article II Conversations

The Unitarian Universalist Association has bylaws, just like congregations.  One of the bylaws’ sections  (Article 2) is UU Principles, Purposes, and Sources.  The Universalists and Unitarians union agreed that specific ideas would be at the heart of what guides our faith.  So, every 15 years, we study our principles, purposes, and sources and talk about whether or not they’re doing the job we need them to do and whether or not they reflect the whole of Unitarian Universalism and not just a part.
The Article II Commission looks forward to continued engagement with Unitarian Universalists about this important shift in our theology.  Your voice matters!

  • Are you wondering how you and your congregation can contribute to the Article II conversation on revising our Principles and Purposes?
  • Commit to attend General Assembly!  It might be fun for your delegates to attend this year’s General Assembly in Pittsburgh in person, but your delegates can also attend the business only online GA meetings for no cost.  There really is no excuse for not representing your congregation at General Assembly this year.
