This committee networks with regional, national, and international entities on behalf of our faith community including the UUA (Unitarian Universalist Association), Nauset Interfaith Association, Cape Cod Council of Churches, and the UU Service Committee.

UUConnections also hosts local community in-person activities such as an annual Choir Sing, films, exhibits, and other educational events like the Ware Lecture and Common Read, all in the service of promoting our UU Eight Principles and Six Sources.

UUA: North American UU congregations connect via this entity and meet annually at UUA’s General Assembly (GA) in June.

NIA: Nauset Interfaith participants are clergy and lay leaders from 24 interfaith groups on the lower and outer Cape.  The purpose is “to deepen mutual understanding of each faith tradition, to provide mutual support and encouragement, and to work together for the common good of our wider community, especially the poor, oppressed, and marginalized.”

CCCC:  Cape Cod Council of Churches counts 38 member churches. Service programs:  A Baby Center. Hospital Chaplaincy, Hands of Hope Food Pantry and Outreach Center, Faith Family Kitchen, Covenant to Care for Foster Families, and Youth StreetReach Homeless Ministry. “Serving God by Serving Others” is their motto.

Under the UUA International Collaboration we affiliate with a partner church in Transylvania, Romania, the Jobbagyfalva Unitarian Church. Our contact is with the newly-ordained and called minister, Rev  Emese Jakab.

The UUA office at the United Nations, UU-UNO works on global social justice issues. FPBUU supports their annual symposium in person and online for learners of all ages, especially our Children and Youth Ministry (CYM) participants.
