Rick grew up in Cohasset, MA but has lived in Brewster for 40 years with his wife, Sandra, and their menagerie of dogs, cats and horses. Sandra is a born and bred Cape Codder and has been a psychotherapist in Dennis for over 35 years.. 

Rick graduated from the University of New Hampshire and embarked on a career that included running small businesses in a wide variety of industries including specialized semiconductor materials, contract manufacturing, marketing communications and shellfish. For 25 years he owned Grouper Marketing & Creative, a marketing communications company on Cape Cod and then spent 6 years as President of Aquacultural Research Corporation in Dennis, the state’s only large-scale commercial shellfish hatchery.

Rick was a Brewster Little League coach for 6 years and has spent time on the Boards of Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod, Friends of Children’s Cove, and the Nauset Youth Alliance.

Outside of work, Rick’s passion is SCUBA diving and he also enjoys traveling, walking the dogs, golf, following the Patriots. and never quite completing his honey-do list.
